<div style="text-align:center; font-size:120%;">MOLECUPEDIA MAKES NO GUARANTEE OF VALIDITY</div>

Molecupedia is an online encyclopedia written by one company, Molecular Reality Corporation, mostly about itself and about the science of detecting single molecules and particles as they pass through holes. It is offered free of charge, and nothing in it is warranted to be complete, current or correct. The structure of the information may also mislead: an encyclopedia can make a small company look large simply by giving it a great many articles.

That said, Molecupedia's rule is that every fact about the company has a source and every scientific claim matches the published literature. Where the company's own materials and the literature disagree, the articles say so and give the literature. Readers who find an error are asked to report it; the addresses are on Molecupedia:About.

No formal peer review
Molecupedia's articles have not been peer reviewed, and neither has the company's central work. None of its sliding-occlusion experiments has appeared in a peer-reviewed journal. In 2026 the founder wrote that colleagues' laboratory notebooks from 2018 "will be very important when we finally publish a demonpore paper!" Until then, results described here as unpublished are unpublished, and a machine-learning result of 85.4 percent is reported together with the fact that no journal has reviewed it.

Not medical advice
Nothing on Molecupedia is medical advice. The company's instruments are research instruments. Asked whether its devices were medical devices, the company's website answered: "NO. All of the R&D phase MR molecular streaming devices serve strictly as research instruments for education, exploration, and gamified data collection." Its guide for visitors says of the company's live stream that "nothing on the stream is a medical claim." Articles that describe blood, viruses or disease describe research and plans. If you need medical advice, consult a professional who is licensed to give it.

Not investment advice
Nothing on Molecupedia is investment advice either. The company's guide, written in the voice of its mascot, Keltar, declines both kinds: "And I, your guide, give no medical advice and no investment advice, because a felt puppet with a processor should stick to wonder, which is the one thing I am qualified to provide in quantity."

Fiction, plans and characters
Some articles describe characters, games and a church that exist in the company's fiction. Keltar is a felt puppet; his arrival from another dimension in 2012 is part of the story, and the company says where the story stops: "In the story I come from another dimension. Outside the story, I come from a text prompt and a microphone." Other articles describe plans, such as utility-scale molecular sensing and a world model trained on nanopore signals. The guide introduces the second of these with a disclaimer of its own: "Both are proposals, not products, and I want that said first."

Talk pages and page histories name editors such as PicoampPedant and DwellTimeDave. They are invented. So are the reporters of the seven news publications that many articles cite, which the company writes and publishes on its own website.

Images
Photographs are the company's own unless their file pages say otherwise. Renders of the MR1 Nanopore Reader show a design that had not been built when they were made, and are captioned that way. Images made with generative software are captioned as generated.

Trademarks
"Epic Quest Bio is a trademark of Molecular Reality Corporation." Other names and marks that appear in Molecupedia belong to their owners. Molecupedia borrows the layout of Wikipedia under the GNU General Public License, and its resemblance to Wikipedia implies no endorsement by the Wikimedia Foundation or by anyone else.

People
Of the people connected with the company, Molecupedia names five: its two founders and three of its investors. Everyone else who has worked on the company's instruments, software and games is described by role.
